| Job Description: | The municipal manager as an accounting officer must advise the political structures and political office bearers, managing communication between these parties as well as carrying out their decisions. He must develop an economically effective, accountable administration which is able to implement the municipality’s Integrated development plan. Ensures economic development initiatives are in place and implemented accordingly. Implements communication and public participation, municipal By-laws and legislations. Facilitates promotion of sound labour relations, effective utilization of municipal human capital and implementations of performance management system. Accountable for all income and expenditure of the municipality, all assets, the discharge of all liabilities of the municipality. |
